Mission

Most organizations know they need to adopt AI. What they lack is a clear, trustworthy path to get there. The market is flooded with vendors promising transformation overnight, yet very few offer the structured guidance that leaders actually need to make informed decisions. AIDex exists to fill that gap with honest, practical tools that help organizations understand where they stand and what to do next.

Training and education sit at the heart of everything we build. Technology alone doesn’t drive adoption. People do. When teams understand how AI works, where it fits, and what risks to watch for, they make better choices. Every assessment, roadmap, and report in AIDex is designed to teach as much as it measures, turning evaluation into a learning experience that builds lasting capability.

We believe the best tools come from collaboration, not isolation. Every organization that joins the AIDex program brings perspective and real-world experience, and what members tell us shapes what we build next. Each organization's own assessment data stays in its own database and reaches no one else's results. What is shared is the vendor and tool catalog: a member can submit an entry, and once we approve it, any other member can adopt it into their own inventory.

This collaborative approach also means we build in the open whenever possible. Feedback from public agencies, private companies, and educational institutions reaches the same team and shapes the same product, so what we learn in one engagement informs how we run the next. We publish no benchmark, no industry average, and no peer ranking, because there is no reference population behind a score. The result is a platform grounded in diverse, practical experience rather than theory.

Quality AI adoption guidance should not be reserved for organizations with the largest budgets. AIDex serves public and private organizations of every size, and we hold that nonprofits and K-12 institutions should not pay enterprise prices for the same guidance. Responsible AI adoption matters everywhere, and our pricing reflects that conviction.
